DESCRIPTION: The Idea is to design a loft inspired by Pablo Ruiz Picasso who is one of the best-documented artists of the 20th century, and one of the most influential artists.

CONCEPT/ IDEAS:

• My Client desires Pablo Picasso Inspired Loft hence I believe Graphic geometries, figurative forms and the revolt of primary colors in abstract art can inspire the design.

• The basic features of Cubism included asymmetrical compositions, transparency; inter penetration of volumes and simultaneous perception from different points of view, which can be incorporated in the design.

• To make the loft more inspired by Pablo Picasso the furniture can have defined lines and striking patterns, which enhance everything.

• Geometric shapes like circles, rectangles and polygons can create structure and clarity. These forms are balanced and easily recognizable. They usually suggest structure, order and efficiency. This was one of the main feature or ideology of Picasso’s Cubist period.

• Wavy lines, dynamic curves and powerful arches contrast with the more functional geometric style, creating unique, captivating objects and drawing attention to the compositions were his technique which can be used during designing the loft.

• Neutral / muted color palette can be used with pop of vibrant colors and tribal art as Picasso was inspired by African tribal art.
