DESCRIPTION: The pandemic has forced the design industry to transform, adapt and evolve in order to find solutions that would help with the transition towards the new idea of a well-functioning space. People have become more anxious due to prolonged social isolation, and they are now in need of spaces that not only feel comfortable, but promote confidence and motivation. The idea of Space Metamorphosis is to provide an immersive environment that caters to these new needs through curved elements, soft fabrics, muted colors, as well as reinvigorating the 5 senses we've been unable to use as much during the pandemic
CONCEPT
METAMORPHOSIS: The design aims to transform and
elevate the user experience with the help of multi sensory design to reinvigorate the five senses of Sight, Taste, Touch, Hearing and Smell. It will be an overall human centric approach with an emphasis on wellness, safety, diversity in order to form an immersive environment that engages human thoughts and behavior. The idea is to design a TRANSITIONAL Space which adapts and seeks a deeper emotional and psychological connection to nature through a multi-sensory architecture in order to re engage and re integrate the changes and approach of a post pandemic space. People will be given a naturally-oriented journey experience that brings them back in touch with community, the environment, and themselves.
